Robert Lockwood has over a decade of experience representing employers of all sizes in California and throughout the United States in all aspects of employment law and related litigation, including complex class, representative and collective actions as well as individual claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unlawful termination, breach of contract, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets. He regularly provides advice and counsel on workplace practices, policies, and agreements and conducts workplace trainings and investigations.
Mr. Lockwood is also experienced in the traditional labor relations arena, defending against union campaigns and representation petitions, handling grievance arbitration and administrative hearings, responding to unfair labor practice charges and advising on collective bargaining issues. Mr. Lockwood has represented some of the nation’s largest companies in the financial services, software, pharmaceutical, transportation, manufacturing, agricultural, hospitality, and construction industries. He has also represented some of the nation’s most innovative and successful technology startups. Mr. Lockwood joined the firm in July of 2018 from Jackson Lewis P.C., one of world’s largest corporate defense labor & employment law firms.
